Message from Robert Potterton. Greetings, we are delighted to be invited to attend Peter Korn's Norlordag on 5 May this year. "A LABOUR OF LOVE - 40 YEARS AT POTTERTONS NURSERY"
The first image in my talk was taken in 1966 showing my father and his young family digging a pond in a back garden in Grimsby. The talk will illustrate how the nursery has since developed over the last 40 years including the building of our new beautiful gardens and nursery developments at Nettleton. Other topics discussed include nursery propogation and cultivation, preparation for flower shows which have included 7 Chelsea Flower Show GOLD medals, mail order techniques and so much more. Questions are encouraged and welcomed throughout this informal and light hearted talk.
PLANT ORDERS: We intend to bring a good selection of plants to offer and you can also pre-order plants either online or by sending your completed order form by post. The plants will be supplied in pots, not bare rooted; if we receive too many orders to fit into our van, the last orders received may be bare rooted. All orders will have a delivery charge of 20% of the value of the plants, which will cover some of our travel expenses.
