How to make Payment:
PAYMENT BY CHEQUE
Your cheque should be made payable to POTTERTONS NURSERY. Do not fill in the cash amount but write on top of the cheque "Not to Exceed £ XX". "XX" being the maximum possible amount including postage. If you are making advance payment for a bulb order then please post-date the cheque to 1st September to prevent it becoming out of date at the time of dispatch. We will include an invoice in the parcel and advise the amount the cheque has been made out for. This procedure will eliminate many of our accounting and postal problems and saves valuable time.
CREDIT CARDS
We accept MASTERCARD, VISA and MAESTRO. Please ensure you supply the following information authorising us to charge the total value of your order: Type of Card, Card number, Date of Expiry, Security Code (that is the last three digits above where your signature is on the back of your card), Name as on Card, Card holders address, Maestro Issue Number (if present) and signature. If youve asked us to post your order to your works address PLEASE also tell us your home address. All this information may be required by the credit card company before we can obtain payment. Payment by credit card is by far the easiest and cheapest method.
Postal Charges - UK
ALPINES
For deliveries to England, Wales and parts of Scotland excluding Highlands and Islands not mentioned in the following postcodes there will be a fixed charge of £8.50 per consignment for up to 40 plants. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly - postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25 and The Highlands and Islands of Scotland postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, the charge is £16.00. For a small order we can often send more economically by first class post, in this instance we will contact you to advise amended postage costs. For each additional 40 plants add £8.50 or £16.00 respectively. Deliveries to the Channel Islands will be charged at cost. Generally, orders will be sent out in their pots usually by 24 or 48 hour Parcelforce delivery service. Please suggest a nearby alternate address in case of your absence at the time of delivery and also supply your telephone number in case of difficulties. Parcels usually require a signature on delivery, in cases of failure to deliver your postman should leave a card advising you who to contact for arranging re-delivery or collection.
DWARF BULBS
There will be a fixed charge of £4.00 per consignment. Deliveries will be made using first class post or Parcelforce.
WINTER CATALOGUE
There will be a fixed charge of £4.00 per order.
SEED CATALOGUE
There will be a fixed charge of £2.00 per order, this will be added to your invoice after we have received your order.
SHOW ORDERS
We are able to deliver orders to all shows, events and talks that we attend, free of delivery charge. See "shows" link for our 2009 schedule.
V.A.T.
4% flat rate will be charged to British VAT registered customers, otherwise no additional added tax involved. V.A.T. Flat Rate No. 950 8956 81 0000
