Commonly known as "The Flame Flower" with its flame red flowers in late summer to autumn. Usually seen growing up through hedges or shrubs. The dormant white root should be planted in a humus rich soil in light shade, close to the base of the host plant. In dry summers give extra water to the roots. Hardy.
