Welcome to Pottertons Nursery
MAIL ORDER - Alpines, Dwarf Bulbs & Woodland plants - ORDER NOW
GREETINGS. The nursery has been awarded 7 Chelsea Flower show GOLD medals and is open to visitors on TUESDAY to FRIDAY 10am to 3pm, February to October, at other times of the year by prior appointment. Our extensive sales area is restocked weekly, offering a huge range of Alpines, Dwarf Bulbs and Woodland plants. We have a lovely selection of display areas featuring many of the plants we offer, in raised beds, troughs, crevice and woodland beds.
We are a traditional family run specialist nursery which grows and supplies an extensive selection by MAIL ORDER and at the many shows we attend throughout the UK or directly from our nursery.
The nursery was opened in 1971 and since then we have conducted our mail order business through our printed catalogue in paper format, although the relatively recent boom in internet use has resulted in an increasing proportion of orders been taken through this web site.
Our current catalogues are included on this site and orders may be made using the secure on-line ordering systems. If you require advice or assistance contact the nursery by e-mail and you will receive a prompt reply. We can supply our full range by mail order to customers throughout the UK excluding Channel Isles and Northern Ireland.
We are extensively a mail order business but also open to visitors March to October. Pre-booked, confirmed orders may be collected on a visit and friendly advice or assistance is available, if required. Thinking of growing alpines for the first time??? Come along and get advice from Rob, Jackie or Hannah.
