An upright selection with large, leathery dark green leaves, flowers in late Spring. Few only.

Evergreen low growing, creeping ericaceous shrub with glossy, dark green leaves, small white fls in late spring and stunning, large deep red berries in summer. This is an excellent German cultivar which produces significantly more berries than the species.
