GLADIOLUS

These bulbs flower in the early summer, planted in a sheltered site, full sun in a well drained soil. Those offered are relatively compact at 55cm tall and very floriferous.

Gladiolus communis ssp. byzantinus (HORT)

This is the "Dutch" grown form which offers six to ten magenta-pink flowers per stem in June, the stems are up to 50cm tall, hardy.
