How to order
Online
We recommend our online order facility. You can also contact our sales office at sales@pottertons.co.uk.
By post
Send your order with payment details to: Pottertons Nursery, Moortown Road, Nettleton, Caistor, Lincolnshire LN7 6HX.
How to pay
Credit and debit card
Online transactions are handled by WorldPay, accepting all major cards as shown on the checkout page.
Direct to bank
Please contact the nursery to arrange bank payments.
Postal charges to the UK
Alpines
For deliveries to England, Wales, and Scotland there is a fixed charge of £9.50 per consignment for up to 30 plants. For each additional 30 plants, add £9.50.
Deliveries to the Isle of Man are suspended until further notice.
Orders are sent in their pots via Royal Mail. Please supply an alternative delivery address and a phone number in case of difficulties. Parcels usually require a signature.
Dwarf bulbs
Fixed charge of £5.00 per consignment via Royal Mail.
Winter catalogue
Fixed charge of £5.00 per order.
Click & collect
We can deliver orders to all shows, events, and talks we attend, free of delivery charge. Please give at least three days' notice. See shows for the current schedule.

Plant and pot sizes
Our alpines are generally grown in John Innes No. 2, a soil-based compost, and supplied in 9cm pots. Some very slow-growing alpines are supplied in 8cm pots, where a larger pot would harm them. Larger shrubs, perennials, and deep-rooting bulbs are potted into 1-litre long toms.
Dispatch
Plant catalogue
Plant orders are sent year-round. Our packing team is exceptionally busy in spring and early autumn - we operate first-come, first-served and dispatch as quickly as weather allows. If you need a specific delivery date, tell us when ordering.
Dwarf bulb catalogue
Items dispatched late August to early November. Orders accepted early January to October.
Refunds and cancellations
You have the right to cancel an order within seven days of receiving the goods, by notifying us in writing or by email. If goods have been delivered you must return them immediately in their original condition. You are responsible for return costs and for the goods until they are safely returned — we recommend recorded delivery. Cancellation makes you responsible for any bank charges and order-processing costs.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers for use at the nursery are available to any value. Please contact Rob or Jackie at the nursery.
Prices
We reserve the right to alter prices and postal charges without notice.
Nursery opening times
10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, March to September.
